\n\tLONDON<\/strong> \u2014 Jannik Sinner, currently the world\u2019s number-one tennis player in the ATP rankings and Gucci<\/a>\u2018s global brand ambassador since 2022, was the center of attention of an intimate dinner hosted by Salma Hayek<\/a>-Pinault at Claridge\u2019s restaurant on Monday night.<\/p>\n

\n\tHours before the dinner, the Kering-owned luxury brand unveiled its latest Made in Italy campaign in which Sinner, dressed in a pristine white suit, stands in front of a green and red background \u2014 the brand\u2019s signature color combo \u2014 while striking a pose reminiscent of him swinging a racket on a tennis court.<\/p>\n

\n\tFor the dinner, which doubled as a celebration of his sixth consecutive return to the Wimbledon tournament, as well as the campaign launch, the Italian tennis player opted for a more casual look in black.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpeaking to WWD, Sinner said he went \u201ca bit more creative than usual\u201d for the campaign shoot.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe tried to combine the colors and with a little bit of movement, it turned out that it was the best thing to do,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\n\tSinner also said he personally really likes the direction Demna is taking with Gucci<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s something that you can wear daily, you know, the stuff that he makes. I think it is very, very important that it\u2019s for every age,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe tennis player then hinted at how he plans to bring Gucci to Wimbledon this year.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI have a beautiful Gucci bag coming with me every time, which has become a lucky charm. Also, I think it\u2019s all about having a good, good mix of everything, you know, which is important for me, and I think Gucci is doing very well,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\n\tWith Wimbledon looming, preparation was also top of mind.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI am doing a lot of physical training, very tough and long days. It was not easy preparation, but I\u2019m happy the way I am at the moment. In good shape, and I\u2019m very looking forward to,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn adjusting to the warm U.K. conditions \u2014 weather similar to that badly affected him at the French Open in Paris last month \u2014 he added, \u201cIt is important to get used to the conditions. We had very long days of trying to get the body going for hours and hours on board. So, at the moment, I feel very well.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe evening drew a cross-section of Gucci friends and rising talents, enjoying Champagne and cocktails and dishes including cucumber gazpacho, grilled Dover sole and lemon sorbet.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlongside Hayek Pinault, who donned a leopard print gown from the pre-fall 2026 Gucci collection with a Horsebit 1955 bag, and her daughter\u00a0Valentina Pinault, guests included\u00a0Naomi Ackie,\u00a0Sabine Getty, Kaytranada, Fabien Frankel,\u00a0Lila Moss,\u00a0Ledbyher,\u00a0Alton Mason,\u00a0Maria Olympia of Greece,\u00a0Nia Smith and\u00a0Saura Lightfoot Leon, many of whom wore Demna\u2019s ultra sensual Gucci looks for the occasion.<\/p>\n
