@TheBlones10<\/p>\n<p>The police later confirmed that three of the people are being treated at the Sant Joan de Deu Barcelona Hospital (the Barcelona Children&#8217;s Hospital) but are in &#8216;mild condition&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Four others, who are described to be in &#8216;less serious condition&#8217; have been taken to two separate hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, five are being treated at the scene while the remaining victim has already been discharged by the medical authorities.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Several people injured near Espanyol stadium after being hit by a vehicle,&#8221; a statement from the Police of Catalonia read.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The situation is controlled and in no case does it pose a risk to people inside the sports venue.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The injured people are being treated by emergency services and the driver of the vehicle has been arrested,&#8221; the Police of Catalonia added.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is a large police presence in the area.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not clear who the driver is and what caused the driver of the vehicle to drive into the crowd.<\/p>\n<p>Although president of the Catalonia government Salvador Illa Peugeot<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The security and assistance services reacted quickly, and the spokesperson for the Mossos d&#8217;Esquadra (Catalan police) has provided explanations to various media outlets, as far as I know, and therefore, there is no major incident to regret.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The shocking scenes momentarily halted play inside the stadium, with some fans inside the ground alleged to have attempted to see the game get cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>Several Espanyol players were seen in communication with home spectators behind the goal, before they then gestured towards the Spanish official.<\/p>\n<p>The referee then halted the game before speaking to members of both benches and the police with the match resuming two minutes later.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s widely reported that fans inside the ground were told on the PA system that there were no serious injuries or fatalities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/talksport.com\/sport\/football\/team\/113445\/barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barcelona<\/a> can secure the LaLiga title with a win as it will take them an unassailable seven points clear of <a href=\"https:\/\/talksport.com\/football\/3206641\/kylian-mbappe-real-madrid-la-liga-barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">second-placed Real Madrid<\/a> with two matches
