The Beckhams made headlines this week over an alleged family disagreement (long story short: Brooklyn Beckham reportedly skipped David Beckham’s birthday gala and now fans are speculating), and it looks like the royals are showing different kinds of support. <\/p>\n

Amid news breaking that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry invited Brooklyn to dinner in Montecito, it looks like Kate Middleton also subtly made her feelings known by stepping out in a head-to-toe Victoria Beckham fit.<\/p>\n

Some background? Kate and William have been friends with David and Victoria for years, whereas Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegedly have some beef with them. According to royal expert and biographer Tom Bower (via Us Weekly<\/a>) Meghan and Harry were worried about friends leaking stories to the press and “suspected Victoria Beckham of indiscretion.” Apparently, “Harry called David Beckham to repeat the accusation” which “outraged, Beckham\u2019s truthful denials damaged their relationship.”<\/p>\n

A source also told The Sun<\/a> that “when Meghan moved to London, Victoria shared a whole bunch of beauty tips, but not long after, some of these emerged in print and Meghan was furious.”<\/p>\n

This insider added that “Harry is very protective of Meghan and decided to deal with the matter head-on by directly contacting his good pal David. Harry was very polite, but obviously it was a pretty awkward exchange and David was mortified. He quickly put Harry right, and the two men agreed to move on\u2014but it certainly made things awkward for a while. It later turned out the leak probably came from a beauty salon. Afterward, they got things back on track, but it took a few months.”<\/p>\n

So yes, there’s a lot of Royals\/Beckhams lore, which makes Harry and Meghan inviting Brooklyn over\u2014and Kate wearing a VB pantsuit in the same stretch\u2014interesting to fans. <\/p>\n
