One of the suspects was described by a witness as being “white, tall, of stocky build, with brown hair and balding”.<\/p>\n
Police officers will be in the area throughout the day and anyone with information or concerns are asked to speak to officers. The cordon has since been lifted.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for Bristol Neighbourhood Policing said: “A scene was in place in Fishponds Road and Hinton Road this morning (Wednesday 24 June) after officers were called by paramedics to the scene of an assault.<\/p>\n
“One person has been taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing.<\/p>\n
“Officers arrived on the scene within five minutes of receiving the call however the suspects had already left. Enquiries are being carried out to identify and locate the people responsible.<\/p>\n
