and it&#8217;s not Prince William"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, it was confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be visiting the UK with their children Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, between July 6 and July 10 after living in the United States for four years.<\/p>\n<p>The family, who will be embarking on the transatlantic trip to attend the One Year To Go Invictus events in Birmingham, <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.skynews.com.au\/lifestyle\/celebrity-life\/increasingly-frustrated-prince-harry-reluctantly-accepts-offer-to-stay-at-buckingham-palace-with-meghan-markle-and-children-after-previously-declining-due-to-security-concerns\/news-story\/df277a4b50bf8a258732b360fd64a3f1\" data-tgev=\"event119\" data-tgev-container=\"bodylink\" data-tgev-order=\"df277a4b50bf8a258732b360fd64a3f1\" data-tgev-label=\"lifestyle\" data-tgev-metric=\"ev\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">have also been invited to stay at Buckingham Palace by Harry&#8217;s father King Charles,<\/a> Daily Mirror reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"poster-img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/a93dfb1eef2fc1605bfa9b1b6a5f3c2f.jpeg\" data-sctrack=\"op-poster-img\" alt=\"UK monarchy support plummets to lowest rate in 33 years\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/><\/p>\n<p>However, despite the generous offer, they may receive a frosty welcome from the monarch&#8217;s wife Queen Camilla, according to The Times.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The publication claims that Her Majesty will be &#8220;staying well clear&#8221; of Prince Harry and is &#8220;unlikely to get involved&#8221; in any conversations with the Sussexes during their stay.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, The Times has predicted that Camilla may opt to stay at her private Ray Mill residence in Wiltshire, far away from her stepson and his family.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Queen&#8217;s cold welcome may be, in part, due to the unflattering claims Harry made about her in his 2023 memoir Spare.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"poster-img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2a3c897f85ace13e9354061d59dd8b0f.jpeg\" data-sctrack=\"op-poster-img\" alt=\"Prince George to follow in his father's footsteps at Eton College\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The book saw the Duke of Sussex describe his stepmother as a &#8220;villain&#8221;, and even laid bare his and his brother Prince William&#8217;s pleas with their father not to marry her in 2005.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Harry also alleges that Camilla converted his bedroom in Clarence House into a dressing room as soon as he moved out at the age of 28, and claims her and Charles&#8217; &#8220;spin doctor&#8221; threw him &#8220;right under the bus&#8221; by leaking negative stories about him in the early 2000s.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Camilla isn&#8217;t the only one rumoured to be steering clear of Harry and his family, with numerous reports suggesting that William is bracing for his brother&#8217;s return.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Royal biographer Angela Levin claims the future King will no doubt be &#8220;horrified&#8221; and &#8220;furious&#8221; about his father&#8217;s offer for the family to stay at the royal residence during their stay.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He won&#8217;t go anywhere near him, I believe, and he won&#8217;t let Catherine go anywhere near him.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Other outlets have suggested that Charles and William&#8217;s relationship has taken a hit as a result of the King&#8217;s olive branch towards Harry, with <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.skynews.com.au\/lifestyle\/celebrity-life\/decidedly-frosty-prince-williams-relationship-with-king-charles-at-a-low-ebb-ahead-of-prince-harry-and-meghan-markles-uk-return\/news-story\/25f4de49611d3466ba59289cdf43f126\" data-tgev=\"event119\" data-tgev-container=\"bodylink\" data-tgev-order=\"25f4de49611d3466ba59289cdf43f126\" data-tgev-label=\"lifestyle\" data-tgev-metric=\"ev\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">one insider telling Mail on Sunday that they are &#8220;not in a good place&#8221;.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They are at a very low ebb,&#8221;
