<\/p>\nRomesh Ranganathan has called his time filming the second series of The Celebrity Traitors “an amazing experience”, explaining why it was different to what he had expected. The comedian is one of 21 stars who filmed the upcoming episodes at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands last month.<\/p>\n
Now, speaking on The One Show, he’s reflected on his time as a player – whilst being careful not to give away any spoilers.<\/p>\n
\u201cEven as I begin to speak now I feel incredibly nervous because I can\u2019t give anything away,” he said, “but what I can say is, I thought that it was faker than it is.”<\/p>\n

It is so immersive – I couldn’t believe it. <\/p>\n “You are in the game the whole time you\u2019re in the game and that took me by surprise. It becomes all-encompassing, it\u2019s a pretty amazing experience.”<\/p>\n Other competitors on the new run of the TRIC Award-winning show<\/a> include (deep breath): Amol Rajan, Bella Ramsey, Hannah Fry, James Acaster, James Blunt, Jerry Hall, Joanne McNally, Joe Lycett and Julie Hesmondhalgh.<\/p>\n King Kenny, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Maya Jama, Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart, Myha’la, Richard E. Grant, Rob Beckett, Ross Kemp, Sebastian Croft and Sharon Rooney complete the list.<\/p>\n BBC<\/p>\n Related: The Other Bennet Sister confirms return for three Christmas specials<\/a><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n Also speaking on The One Show recently, Grant opened up a tiny bit<\/a> about his own time filming the smash hit – saying some advice he got from previous player Celia Imrie turned out to be very useful.<\/p>\n He explained: “I said, ‘Celia, what is the thing you can’t be prepared for?’ She said, ‘The cruelty of people who you instinctively want to trust, in a room like this and suddenly every single person suspects you’. And I think that’s a very accurate thing to have said.
