A major new lifestyle, wellness and sporting destination is set to open in Liverpool, bringing together padel, fitness, recovery and social spaces in one of the city’s largest leisure developments. Club Mona will launch on Great Howard Street, close to the Titanic Hotel, occupying almost 40,000 square feet in Liverpool’s thriving northern docklands area.<\/a><\/p>\n

Created by Liverpool brothers Luis, Lloyd and Jordan Stockton alongside Applied Nutrition COO Steven Granite<\/a>, the ambitious project has been \u201cas far more than padel courts\u201d.<\/p>\n

Rather than operating solely as a sports venue, Club Mona wants to pride itself on a destination where members can train, recover, socialise and work under one \u00a34m roof.<\/p>\n

Director Lloyd Stockton, 34, said: \u201cWe wanted to create something that feels genuinely different for Liverpool. Club Mona isn\u2019t just about padel or fitness, it\u2019s about building a space people want to spend time in and be part of a like-minded community.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve taken inspiration from lifestyle clubs we\u2019ve seen in cities like London and Melbourne but our vision has always been to create something that still feels welcoming, social and rooted in Liverpool\u2019s culture.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe really believe there\u2019s a demand for a space that brings together wellness, training, recovery and community in one environment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ground floor will feature eight indoor padel courts, a premium lounge and co-working space, caf\u00e9-style social areas, modern changing facilities and a dedicated recovery suite complete with hot and cold plunge pools and saunas. A retail space selling nutrition products, equipment and accessories will also be included.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the venue, visitors will find a fully equipped commercial gym, a Hyrox-focused training zone, HIIT studio, yoga and Pilates spaces, plus an advanced wellness suite featuring cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, red light therapy, recovery technology and treatment rooms.<\/p>\n

Alongside its health and fitness offering, Club Mona plans to host a programme of events, brand partnerships and social activities aimed at creating a strong sense of community among members.<\/p>\n

Dad Luis Stockton, 40, added: \u201cEverything at Club Mona has been designed around experience and atmosphere. Whether someone is coming to play padel, or a workout, a recovery session, to work remotely or simply to meet friends, we want the club to become part of people\u2019s daily routines and lifestyles.<\/p>\n
