Man Utd are trying to offload goalkeeper Andre Onana in the summer transfer window after his loan spell in Turkey.<\/p>\n

Onana is set to leave on loan again.<\/p>\n

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana is closing in on another loan move to Trabzonspor. United preferred a permanent sale of Onana this summer, but they will settle for a loan deal that covers his wages.<\/p>\n

United will receive a loan fee for Onana, and Trabzonspor are set to cover his wages for a second season.<\/p>\n

Onana started every league game for Trabzonspor last term, playing a crucial role as they finished third in the Turkish top-flight, and his performances earned rave reviews from the local press.<\/p>\n

    The Cameroon international has received a pay rise by playing for Trabzonspor due to Turkey’s 20% tax rate for players in the Super Lig.<\/p>\n

    United needed to sell Onana for around \u00a320million in this summer window to avoid a loss under the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR). That figure will drop next year due to amortisation.<\/p>\n

    Ruben Amorim axed Onana at the beginning of the season, initially selecting Altay Bayindir as his first choice.<\/p>\n

    Senne Lammens earned first-choice status after his October debut. Bayindir has served as No.2, but the 28-year-old is also expected to leave the club this summer in search of regular game time as a No.1 stopper.<\/p>\n

    Lammens was named as the Premier League’s Transfer of the Season after an impressive first campaign at Old Trafford<\/a>. The Belgian was undefeated in 28 of his 32 appearances for United, keeping eight clean sheets across the campaign.<\/p>\n
