{"id":1050179,"date":"2026-06-25T23:54:18","date_gmt":"2026-06-25T23:54:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1050179\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T23:54:18","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T23:54:18","slug":"behavioral-health-unit-unveiled-at-st-francis-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1050179\/","title":{"rendered":"Behavioral health unit unveiled at St. Francis Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>$10M behavioral health unit opens at Milwaukee\u2019s St. Francis Hospital<\/p>\n<p>Ascension Wisconsin has unveiled a new behavioral health unit at St. Francis Hospital, addressing mental health care needs in southeastern Wisconsin<\/p>\n<p><a aria-label=\"Zoie Henry profile page\" class=\"css-15eikfp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wisn.com\/news-team\/be924b6a-c259-4630-b62e-72b75886d6c2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/be924b6a-c259-4630-b62e-72b75886d6c2_1720041142.jpg\" width=\"48\" height=\"48\" alt=\"Zoie Henry\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/a><strong class=\"css-ncbpmr\">MILWAUKEE \u2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"0\">Ascension Wisconsin has invested $10 million to renovate and open a new behavioral health unit at St. Francis Hospital on Milwaukee\u2019s south side.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"1\">The newly renovated facility will serve 61 adults and children in need of behavioral health services, primarily assisting patients in southeastern Wisconsin while collaborating with surrounding Ascension facilities as needed. This expansion comes as Milwaukee faces challenges in keeping mental health facilities open.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"2\">Officials said the expansion will help fill a gap.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"3\">&#8220;We are also uniquely equipped to serve individuals who have both complex behavioral health and medical needs. This unit allows us to integrate the physical as well as the mental care, ensuring every patient has a place to be cared for. We want patients to receive comprehensive, holistic support they deserve.
