American Football legend Tom Brady admits he will \u201cnever forget\u201d a special Father\u2019s Day golfing trip to Northern Ireland after taking in the majestic fairways of Royal County Down<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The seven-times Super Bowl winner shared the experience on his social media after playing the famous links course with his dad, Tom Brady Sr.<\/p>\n

The pair played three courses during a flying visit to Ireland, having also enjoyed Portmarnock and Adare Manor.<\/p>\n

Sharing photos and videos on Instagram, Brady said: \u201cIt\u2019s hard to describe how special this trip to Ireland was with my idol and hero, my dad. It didn\u2019t take much convincing to head to Ireland to play some of the best golf courses in the world,@RoyalCountyDownGC<\/a>,@PortmarnockGolfClub<\/a>and@TheAdareManor<\/a>, but to be on the course with my dad on Father\u2019s Day was one of the greatest experiences of my life.<\/p>\n

\u201cReturning to Ireland was special in its own right, and the incredible hospitality and kindness of the Irish people will always hold a place in my family\u2019s heart. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m beyond blessed to create memories like these, and it\u2019s all because of the work my dad did for our family and how he has supported us all and loved us unconditionally. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe foundation of love and support from my mom and dad was second to none. I can only hope to be back here someday with my kids years from now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brady – who starred for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers during a glittering NFL career – has visited Royal County Down before.<\/p>\n

He travelled to the famous course – regarded as one of the best in the world – last May.<\/p>\n

The 48-year-old is widely regarded as the greatest of all time, having spent 23 seasons in the NFL before retiring last year.<\/p>\n
