A man who was stabbed in Failsworth one week ago remains in a critical condition in hospital, Greater Manchester Police<\/a> says. An investigation is ongoing after the man was attacked on Hale<\/a> Lane last Friday evening (June 19).<\/p>\n

The incident left the man fighting for his life. He remains in hospital for treatment today (June 26), GMP says. Four people have been arrested<\/a> in connection with the incident over the past week.<\/p>\n

Two men, aged 19 and 46, were arrested on suspicious of grievous bodily harm at an address on Firdale Road, Moston<\/a>, later on Friday night. A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Saturday evening after he handed himself in at Ashton-under-Lyne police station.<\/p>\n

And a 45-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of theft and assault in connection with the investigation on Monday. All four suspects have since been bailed pending further enquiries.<\/p>\n
