Liscard man who posed as taxi driver to kidnap and sexually abuse woman jailed<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A man who posed as a taxi driver, kidnapped a woman and forced her to remove her clothing as he filmed her has been jailed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Damian Watson, 36, of School Close, in Liscard, was driving his white Mercedes van when he picked up the woman in the Anfield area of Liverpool in April this year.<\/p>\n

Armed officers make arrest following Woodchurch stabbing<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A man has been arrested after a report of a stabbing in Woodchurch on Thursday, 25 June. Just after 3.40pm, Merseyside Police received a report that a man had assaulted a man in his 60\u2019s outside a shop on Hoole Road.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A man who was treated by paramedics at the scene has now been taken to hospital with stab wounds to his shoulder and ribcage.<\/p>\n

Officers from the Merseyside Police specialist Child Criminal and Sexual Exploitation Team (CCSET) have welcomed the sentencing of a Thames Valley man to eight years and four months for child sexual offences.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kwame Yeboah, 30, of Drake Way in Reading, pleaded guilty to the following offences on Wednesday 22 April and was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, 24 June: Three counts of Rape of a girl under 13; One count of Sexual assault of a girl under 13.<\/p>\n

Four-year-old girl injured after unattended vehicle rolls over her in Eastham<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision involving a child at a car park in Eastham on Saturday, 20 June.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At around 3.50pm, Merseyside Police received a report that a four-year-old girl was injured following an unattended vehicle rolling over her in the car park of Mimosa Tea Garden on Green Lane.<\/p>\n

Man charged with theft and burglary in Tranmere<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Detectives have charged a man with vehicle crime offences following an arrest in Wirral in the early hours of Monday, 22 June.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At around 2.05am, officers were called to Sidney Road in Tranmere to reports of a suspected burglary. A man was detained and a screwdriver was seized. He was arrested on suspicion of multiple offences.<\/p>\n
