In 2024, he posted a brilliant debut campaign in which he <a data-i13n=\"cpos:1;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/news\/paul-skenes-nl-rookie-of-the-year-2024\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:won National League Rookie of the Year;cpos:1;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">won National League Rookie of the Year<\/a> and was named one of three finalists for the NL&#8217;s Cy Young Award. Through 54 2\/3 innings pitched this season, Skenes has a 2.63 ERA.<\/p>\n<p>The WBC Championship will be played at loanDepot Park in Miami on March 17, 2026.
