A Vietnamese GPU repair shop has shared a new GeForce RTX 5090 repair case showing damage around the graphics card power area. The report comes from quyle.gpufix, which says it received two RTX 5090 cards for repair.<\/p>\n
According to the repair shop, one card had already been worked on before arrival. It reportedly had no power, no GPU detection and one missing A1 VRAM package. The shop says this card was repaired and returned the same day.<\/p>\n
The second card was in worse condition. The repair shop claims the card had burn damage severe enough to kill both the GPU and VRAM. The post also criticizes the lack of additional protection on an expensive graphics card, with the shop arguing that a fuse could help prevent a short from burning through the PCB. Worst part? Warranty does not cover such claims, says the repair center.\u00a0<\/p>\n
