A woman is fighting for her life in hospital after a crash in Fallowfield<\/a>, police have said.<\/p>\n

Greater Manchester Police<\/a> said three arrests have been made in connection with the crash, which happened on Moseley Road at around 11.30pm on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The three – two men and a woman – remained in custody for questionning on Sunday, the force said in a statement.<\/p>\n

All three were held on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, GMP added.<\/p>\n

The woman, who is 22, was described by police as being in a ‘life-threatening’ condition in hospital.<\/p>\n

In the statement, GMP said: “At around 11.31pm on Saturday 27 June 2026, police officers were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Moseley Road, in Fallowfield.<\/p>\n

“Emergency services attended and a woman, aged 22, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A man and a woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.<\/p>\n

“A second man was arrested this morning in connection to the incident on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and causing serious injury by disqualified driving.<\/p>\n

“All three individuals remain in custody for questioning as enquiries continue. Our Serious Collisions Investigation Unit are appealing for information, dashcam or CCTV footage to assist with enquiries.”<\/p>\n
