Police have issued a major update after a woman was left fighting for her life following a crash in south Manchester<\/a>. Emergency services were scrambled to the scene on Moseley Road in Fallowfield<\/a> at around 11.30pm on Saturday (June 27).<\/p>\n

Officers later arrested three people in connection with the collision – two men and a woman – who were taken into custody to be questioned on Sunday.<\/p>\n

A woman, aged 22, was rushed to hospital from the scene with life-threatening injuries. She remains in hospital fighting for her life, GMP has confirmed in an update.<\/p>\n

A man and a woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. A second man was then arrested the following morning in connection to the incident on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and causing serious injury by disqualified driving.<\/p>\n

Greater Manchester Police<\/a> have now said that all three suspects have been released on bail pending further investigations into the incident.<\/p>\n

Pictures from the scene on Saturday night showed a cordon in place near to The Armitage Sports Centre. Officers remained stationed at the cordon with with a car seen in the centre of the road.<\/p>\n

Investigations by the police’s Serious Collision Unit are continuing. Any witnesses or anyone with information is being urged to get in touch.<\/p>\n
