A man is in hospital after allegedly being stabbed in Glasgow<\/a> as locals report a large police presence scouring nearby woods.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to Crossbank Crescent in Toryglen<\/a> at around 4.55pm on Monday (June 29), and the injured man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, reports the Daily Record<\/a>. No further information is available on his condition.<\/p>\n

One man has been arrested and cops remain in the area, with locals reporting police<\/a> vans on Prospecthill Circus and Toryglen Road, as well as officers standing guard on locked-down Crossbank Crescent.<\/p>\n

An eyewitness said: “I saw officers searching inside the woods and there were police cars parked all over the scheme, with a number of cops walking around.<\/p>\n

“They locked the place down all the way up to Rutherglen and had the police dogs out too.<\/p>\n

“The house at Crossbank Crescent was taped off by police as soon as they arrived in the area.”<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.55pm on Monday, 29 June, 2026, police received a report a man had been stabbed on Crossbank Crescent, Toryglen.<\/p>\n

“Emergency services attended and a man has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Officers remain in the area and enquiries to locate those responsible are ongoing.<\/p>\n
