Good Morning Britain viewers were left in complete disbelief as the show celebrated one of the presenter’s 50th birthday<\/p>\n

Viewers of Good Morning Britain were left astounded on Friday as the show took a pause to celebrate a memorable milestone for one of their presenters.<\/p>\n

During the broadcast, hosts Adil Ray and Kate Garraway<\/a> stopped everything for a special bulletin. Kate excitedly announced: “Now, we do have some major breaking news about someone in this very studio.”<\/p>\n

Kate then stunned ITV<\/a> viewers by revealing that it was none other than Charlotte Hawkins’ birthday, saying she was born this day back in 1975.<\/p>\n

As she showered praise on her colleague, viewers were treated to nostalgic photos of Charlotte’s youth, including images of her with a teddy bear and beaming on horseback, with an amused Charlotte exclaiming: “Where did you get these from?!”<\/p>\n

Humorously pointing out her family’s ‘betrayal’, Kate chuckled at how they had sent in the snaps.<\/p>\n

But it was an old video from early in Charlotte’s career that really caught Adil off-guard, leading him to jest: “What on earth? ! You look older there! You look 63!”.<\/p>\n

Charlotte couldn’t help but laugh, confessing her attempts to look more ‘mature’ back then. The festive mood continued as Laura Tobin rolled in with a birthday cake trolley, right before Adil handed over a beautiful bouquet of flowers, reports Bristol Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As the celebrations drew to a close, Charlotte shared that her daughter keeps reminding her of turning half a century.<\/p>\n

Kate Garraway was taken aback by a black and white picture of her colleague from younger years, mistakenly asking if it featured Marilyn Monroe, only for Charlotte to respond: “No, that was me back in the day, believe it or not!<\/p>\n

“That was in my modelling days when I was earning a bit of money, while I was at university.”<\/p>\n

To which Kate exclaimed: “Happy Birthday, Charlotte. I still can’t quite believe she’s 50. I think it’s a lie.”<\/p>\n

Viewers rapidly flocked to Twitter<\/a> to echo Kate’s astonishment, with many finding it hard to grasp that Charlotte is 50.<\/p>\n

One viewer commented: “Happy birthday Charlotte, you can see what a beautiful person you are inside and out 50? I will take some of what you are having.”<\/p>\n

Another chimed in with: “Doesn’t look anywhere near 50.”<\/p>\n

A third person gushed: “Happy 50th Birthday, Charlotte [sic] Are you sure? You look amazing. Enjoy your day.”<\/p>\n

Likewise, someone else tweeted: “@GMB<\/a> Happy Birthday to the lovely @CharlotteHawkns, I hope she has a lovely day and you don’t look a day over 40.”<\/p>\n

In concurrence, another fan remarked: “Happy birthday, I thought you were in your mid 30s.”<\/p>\n
