Also at the rear of the car, the team has improved airflow with a revised scoop geometry and winglet arrangement.

Mercedes’ changes largely relate to the front of the car as it has modified its front suspension and reporfiled front wing elements.

In a bid for further gains, the German manufacturer has made a subtle change to the engine cover shape that not only improves airflow but also allows for more efficient cooling.

Aston Martin bring biggest package of all

The Aston Martin package, meanwhile, is considerable and the most significant of all the teams.

The team has endured a difficult season, with Fernando Alonso, in particular, yet to score a point after the opening six grands prix.

The AMR25 updates, due to be on Lance Stroll’s car only through Friday practice as part of correlation tests with the old package, boasts a new floor, complete with fences and an edge, all to “improve the flowfield under the floor, increasing the local load generated on the lower surface and hence performance,” according to the team.

Alongside the development of the floor edge, there is a revised shape for the coke to aid the performance of the floor.

The diffuser has also been updated, whilst the local detail around the rear halo mounts has a reduced fin to manage the flow around the cockpit. Finally, there is a new beam wing to assist with drag reduction

.The Racing Bulls have a new floor body and sidepods, whilst on the Alpine, there is a reprofiled front wing and rear bodywork panel.

Haas has also brought a major package that includes a new floor, floor edge, diffuser, rear corner and rear suspension.

Williams and Stake are the only two teams without any updates this weekend.

A magnitude of F1 upgrades have been unveiled at the Imola circuit as teams look to stamp their…

[4103
859,4199,1076,1074,1077,1075,997,707,4200,998,1073,1072,1071,79,16,15
0":"post-106013","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-f1","8":"tag-daniel-ricciardo","9":"tag-f1","10":"tag-f1-calendar","11":"tag-f1-live","12":"tag-f1-results","13":"tag-f1-standings","14":"tag-ferrari","15":"tag-formula-1","16":"tag-formula1","17":"tag-lewis-hamilton","18":"tag-max-verstappen","19":"tag-motorsport","20":"tag-racing","21":"tag-sports","22":"tag-uk","23":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
