A Bristol police officer faces a misconduct hearing after being issued with a non-molestation order \u2013 the civil court equivalent of a restraining order, it is alleged.<\/p>\n

The constable, referred to only as PC A, is accused of breaching the standards of professional behaviour in terms of conduct.<\/p>\n

A publicity notice<\/a> on the force<\/a> website said: \u201cThe alleged facts are: In May 2025 Bath Family Court issued a Non-Molestation Order against PC \u2018A\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was ratified and extended by a further order in April 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is contended that (if proven) the allegations amount to gross misconduct.\u201d<\/p>\n

A non-molestation order protects a victim and relevant child <\/a>from \u2018abuse or harassment by a named person, or to prevent them living in your home\u2019, according to the Government\u2019s website.<\/p>\n
