After initially declaring the anticipated open world \u201cplays best<\/a>\u201d on PS5 via the PS Blog<\/a>, now the developer itself has started using the slogan on its social media accounts.<\/p>\n

A new post, encouraging you to \u201cpre-order now on PS5\u201d includes an image of the game\u2019s cover art and a custom logo saying \u2018Plays Best on PS5\u2019.<\/p>\n

If you click through the link to Rockstar\u2019s website<\/a>, you\u2019ll see the same text on the dev\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s particularly interesting about this is if you visit the same URL directly, the \u2018Plays Best on PS5\u2019 symbol is replaced with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S logos, so this is something that only appears when you access the page through a specific link.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, I imagine this marketing is going to be pretty effective.<\/p>\n

In reality, Sony\u2019s system is unlikely to have many meaningful advantages over the Xbox Series X|S version \u2013 things like haptic feedback and 3D audio are among those being touted<\/a> \u2013 but for casual consumers who watch the commercials, they\u2019re probably not going to look too deeply into the facts.<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, the title\u2019s already the number one game around the world<\/a> on the PS Store<\/strong><\/a>, and some metrics claim it\u2019s being pre-ordered at a ratio of 8:1<\/a> on the PS5 compared to the Xbox.<\/p>\n

One thing you probably shouldn\u2019t expect on any PS5 console, though, is 60fps<\/a>!<\/p>\n
