A sea search is underway to find a missing<\/a> man off the coast of Scotland who was last seen four days ago, as concerns grow for his welfare.<\/p>\n Mark Ryle<\/a> from Edinburgh travelled from the capital to Cape Wrath, in the north of the country, on Friday, May 9.<\/p>\n The 54-year-old was last spotted<\/a> at around 10am on Monday, May 12 in the Cape Wrath area wearing light-coloured trousers, a dark grey top and carrying a red and black backpack.<\/p>\n While travelling to Cape Wrath, Mark, who is described as 5ft 8 inches in height with a slim build, met various local people.<\/p>\n However, when he failed to return and travel back from Cape Wrath concern<\/a> was raised for him.<\/p>\n A search<\/a> operation was launched including assistance from the RNLI, HM Coastguard, Assynt Mountain Rescue and search and rescue dog association. A search of the coastline has resumed today.<\/p>\n Sergeant Jo Macleod said: \u201cMark\u2019s life has been in Edinburgh and officers are continuing enquiries<\/a> to locate any extended family and friends of Mark.<\/p>\n “I would ask anyone who recently saw<\/a> or spoke to Mark to contact us.
