McSwiggin\u2019s promises a traditional, sophisticated and warm pub atmosphere with tables, booths, fireplaces, TV screens and two bars across two floors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The venue marks a major investment in Liverpool\u2019s hospitality scene, transforming the former commercial bank within the historic Castle Moat House, built in 1841, into a traditional Irish pub where quality takes centre stage. From the perfect pint of Guinness, stouts and a premium whiskey collection, to live music, live sport and a menu of classic pub favourites, McSwiggin\u2019s has been created to bring people together over great drinks, live entertainment and genuine hospitality.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The opening will generate new employment opportunities across venue management and bar staff while showcasing local musical talent through a regular programme of live entertainment.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/McSwiggins_Logo-e1782998498626.jpg\" alt=\"Credit: McSwiggins\" class=\"wp-image-243825\"\/>Credit: McSwiggins<br \/>\nWhat to expect at McSwiggin\u2019s:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A design-led, two storey pub that showcases the building\u2019s original character, with heritage features, impressive original windows and cosy log burner fireplaces creating a warm, cosy setting.<\/li>\n<li>Big screens for match-day rounds and dedicated live music sessions rolling late into the night.<\/li>\n<li>A dedication to the ultimate, patient Guinness pour \u2013 settled properly, served cool, and finished cleanly.<\/li>\n<li>A carefully curated back-bar featuring everything from smooth, familiar Irish favorites to premium, rare bottles built for slow sipping and highballs.<\/li>\n<li>An extended range of stouts, as an Irish bar doesn\u2019t begin and end with the perfect pint of Guinness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The restoration of 25 Fenwick Street brings new purpose to an important piece of Liverpool\u2019s architectural heritage. By preserving the character of Castle Moat House while introducing a high-end, high-energy concept, McSwiggin\u2019s looks set to become a vital anchor for the area\u2019s daytime and evening economy.<\/p>\n<p>General Manager Dean McClafferty said: <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re really excited to be bringing this incredible listed building back into use.
