Police received reports of a child getting into difficulty in water\"An<\/p>\n

The incident happened at Bryngarw Country Park in Bridgend(Image: John Myers)<\/p>\n

A three-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after getting into difficulty in the water at Bryngarw Country Park in Bridgend<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the park at around 2.40pm on Saturday, July 4, following reports that a child had entered a body of water and got into difficulty.<\/p>\n

The boy, who is from the Newport<\/a> area, was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.<\/p>\n

Officers at South Wales Police<\/a> confirmed that an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.<\/p>\n
