{"id":1068757,"date":"2026-07-04T21:47:16","date_gmt":"2026-07-04T21:47:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1068757\/"},"modified":"2026-07-04T21:47:16","modified_gmt":"2026-07-04T21:47:16","slug":"turkiyes-erdogan-says-israel-must-not-be-able-to-dynamite-us-iran-deal-politics-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1068757\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkiye\u2019s Erdogan says Israel must not be able to \u2018dynamite\u2019 US-Iran deal | Politics News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"article__subhead\">The Turkiye leader has repeatedly accused Israel of trying to undermine the US-Iran memorandum of understanding.<\/p>\n<p>Published On 4 Jul 20264 Jul 2026<\/p>\n<p>Turkiye\u2019s President Tayyip Erdogan has said that peace efforts in the Middle East could not succeed without regional backing, adding that Israel must not be allowed to \u201cdynamite\u201d the United States-Iran deal.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Saturday in Istanbul alongside his Pakistani counterpart, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Erdogan said that \u201cno solution that does not take strength from the will and contributions of regional countries can be lasting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recommended Stories list of 3 itemsend of list<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are closely following the Israeli administration\u2019s attempts to dynamite the (U.S.-Iran) deal \u2026 The current war-addicted Israeli government must not be allowed to drown our geography in the smell of gunpowder and blood again,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The Erdogan leader has repeatedly accused Israel of trying to undermine the US-Iran memorandum of understanding, and has also repeatedly condemned Israel\u2019s attacks in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria.<\/p>\n<p>Delegations from the US and Iran convened in Qatar last week for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2026\/7\/1\/iran-to-open-communication-channel-on-mou-with-us-after-talks-in-qatar\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">indirect talks<\/a> to advance negotiations following recent exchanges of fire.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said Tehran will establish a \u201ccommunication channel\u201d with Washington to report breaches of the MoU.<\/p>\n<p>The MoU, which was brokered by Qatar and Pakistan, includes a 60-day ceasefire, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, an agreement on Iran\u2019s nuclear programme and a timeframe for a final deal to permanently end the war.<\/p>\n<p>However, the US and Iran launched tit-for-tat attacks last week as both debated the meaning of the agreement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Turkiye leader has repeatedly accused Israel of trying to undermine the US-Iran memorandum of understanding.
