Arsenal overtaken by unlikely Prem pair again<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ederson Silva to Man Utd still on<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Romano said about Ederson and Man Utd on his\u00a0<a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=l1I87HxvSGU\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube channel<\/a>: \u201cHe did a very basic medical with Manchester United, a first part, but the real medical, the second part, must be checked after the World Cup in England, and that\u2019s why Manchester United have not announced yet the Ederson deal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, at the moment, still waiting on that second part of medical.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, it means that Manchester United want to make extra checks, and then Manchester United want to be 100% sure before signing off a deal that they verbally agreed but is still expensive \u2013 \u20ac40-45million (up to (\u00a338.5m), add-ons included, so this is the Ederson situation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another reliable journalist, Ben Jacobs, has added that Man Utd\u2019s \u201cplan\u201d has always been to carry out Ederson\u2019s medical after the World Cup, and that remains the case.<\/p>\n<p>Jacobs posted on <a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JacobsBen\/status\/2073877039086789062\" target=\"_blank\">X<\/a> at 10:09pm on July 5: \u201cManchester United\u2019s plan has always been to carry out Ederson\u2019s medical after the World Cup.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ MORE: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/man-utd-sights-50m-chelsea-midfielder\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Man Utd set sights on \u00a350m Chelsea midfielder as top sources confirm interest<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven before he was called up, #MUFC planned to formalise the transfer in July.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnited sources deny the deal is off despite reports in Brazil. Ederson still set to join, subject to passing the medical.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Manchester Evening News\u2019 Chief Manchester United correspondent, Tyrone Marshall, has also reported that there is no problem at all regarding Ederson and the Red Devils.<\/p>\n<p>Marshall wrote on X at 8:22pm on July 5: \u201cEderson to Manchester United is still ON. Deal fully agreed with Atalanta for \u00a335m fee + \u00a33.8m in add-ons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPersonal terms agreed for four-year deal and one-year option.
