Nakimushi will take over a townhouse on Kensington Mall, near Notting Hill Gate tube, spread across three floors and built out of two residencies that have been running at D’Sylva’s Supermarket of Dreams.

The ground floor is a ramen bar from chef Robin Kosuge, open kitchen, shared seating, serving Tokyo-style bowls alongside snacks like hogget skewers with yuzu kosho labneh and pork and lobster gyoza in chilli oil. The two to know are a lobster ramen and a chashu pork belly ramen built on a Basque chicken broth with ajitama. Upstairs, chef Yuji Shimokawa Kelly, of the Urchin residency, takes a broader run at Japanese cooking, though ramen stays on the menu there too.

The guys already run two of the hardest tables to get into in west London. Worth remembering that before Nakimushi’s booking page goes live.

Useful Infomation

Location | 17 Mall Chambers, Kensington Mall, London, W8 4DY
Website | @nakimushirestaurant

Nakimushi opens in Notting Hill as a ramen bar with restaurant above The team behind Dorian, Eel and…

[7757
748,124992,393,1338,4884,65212,257,293887,16,15
post-1072003","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-london","tag-britain","tag-eat-drink","tag-england","tag-food-news","tag-great-britain","tag-japanese","tag-london","tag-new-opening","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom
["GET
