\n\tThe Welsh singer appeared at Hoxton Hall on Sunday (July 5), treating a select group of fans to an intimate performance<\/a> that included fan favorites from her catalog, as well as new material.<\/p>\n

\n\tOne fan who said they attended the show posted about the experience on social media, raving about Duffy\u2019s talent as a vocalist. \u201cThat voice is insane!\u201d the fan wrote<\/a>, referencing her spirited performance of her classic single, \u201cWarwick Avenue,\u201d during the set, which was first announced by Duffy back in June.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m doing a secret intimate gig in London on the 5th July, next month, and I would love nothing more than for some of you to attend,\u201d the singer wrote at the time. \u201cIt\u2019s only small capacity so we can only select a few, but really looking forward to it. I will sing some new songs.\u201d A limited number of tickets for the show were made available through a fan ballot, with the venue remaining undisclosed until the day of the performance.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuffy\u2019s secret show continues the singer\u2019s return to the spotlight following a lengthy hiatus from the public view. In 2020, she opened up about being drugged, kidnapped, and sexually assaulted<\/a>, an incident she revealed led to depression and spurred her decision to step away from the industry. <\/p>\n

\n\tDuffy\u2019s London show also follows hints that she\u2019s currently working on a new studio album, with the singer expressing her excitement about reconnecting with her fans musically.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf only I could find the right words to explain how much I\u2019ve missed you all,\u201d she captioned a photo from a recording studio posted on her Instagram account in May. \u201cWorking on coming back to you.\u201d <\/p>\n
