Prince Harry continued his U.K. trip with a meaningful stop at Birmingham Children’s Hospital<\/a>. The visit marked the 20th anniversary of the first WellChild Nurse, a role created to support children with complex medical needs and their families. According to People, Harry visited the hospital in his role as patron of WellChild, a charity he has supported since 2007.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex met young patients, their families, and hospital staff during the engagement. The visit highlighted the work nurses do to help children transition between hospital care and home life.<\/p>\n
