{"id":10814,"date":"2025-04-11T13:03:22","date_gmt":"2025-04-11T13:03:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/10814\/"},"modified":"2025-04-11T13:03:22","modified_gmt":"2025-04-11T13:03:22","slug":"ee-mobile-went-down-leaving-over-1000-customers-without-service-and-internet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/10814\/","title":{"rendered":"EE mobile went down leaving\u00a0over 1,000 customers without service and internet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HUNDREDS of EE customers reported issues with their mobile and internet connection this morning.<\/p>\n<p>More than 1,000 customers complained of issues according to reports on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/topic\/downdetector\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Downdetector<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Illuminated EE logo on a building.\" height=\"640\" width=\"960\" data-credit=\"Getty - Contributor\" data-img=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/illuminated-ee-logo-reflected-window-338573341_bff554.jpg\" data-caption=\"EE customers complained of issues this morning\"   loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/illuminated-ee-logo-reflected-window-338573341_bff554.jpg\" role=\"img\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>1<\/p>\n<p>EE customers complained of issues this morningCredit: Getty &#8211; Contributor<\/p>\n<p>The issue was first reported at 11.30am this morning with nearly 1,300 frustrated customers flagging the issue &#8211; but EE says it has now been resolved.<\/p>\n<p>Over 75% of users complained over issues with their phone, while 25% flagged broadband connectivity.<\/p>\n<p>The issue appears to have mainly affected the South East of England.<\/p>\n<p>EE has over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/?s=EE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">23million customers <\/a>across the UK and many took to X to complain about problem.<\/p>\n<p>Writing in a social media post, one customer said that they could not get service in South East <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/topic\/london\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">London<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Other were quick to chime and say they also had no reception in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/topic\/bristol\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bristol<\/a> or South End. <\/p>\n<p>While another person said they could not make or receive calls.<\/p>\n<p>One upset customer said: &#8220;What\u2019s going on with the signals at CF23 trying to work from home and I\u2019m losing signal every 10 mins I keep getting a satellite image where 5G should be.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Another said: &#8220;EE mobile and data down SE London.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A third commented: &#8220;Yep same here in Waterloo area.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>CHECK YOUR SPEED: Broadband<\/p>\n<p>EE responded to some who have voiced their concerns and said they were looking into the issue for them.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson told The Sun: &#8220;Earlier today, some EE mobile customers were unable to use their mobile service in Southern England. Service was restored in less than five minutes. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;EE mobile customers in other areas and our broadband customers were not impacted.
