Now, there are a host of fringe players that Daniel Farke is likely to see the back of.

As the first wave of Leeds’ squad return to pre-season soon in July, there are already plenty that are unlikely to be seen in a competitive fixture again.

Multiple loanees will return to Thorp Arch. Most of them, though, will be heading for the exit door if suitable offers are made.

Leeds United and New England Revolution in ongoing Jack Harrison transfer talks

It was reported back in June that Leeds winger Jack Harrison could be on the move once more after his loan spell at Fiorentina.

The winger had a mixed spell in the Serie A. He contributed to their survival from relegation with a player of the month prize in April, but otherwise struggling for consistency. Fiorentina, though, aren’t planning on signing him permanently.

Instead, Harrison could be set to return to where he spent his formative years in the MLS. Reports have emerged on Friday from Nossa Radio USA reporter Gustavo Lopes claiming that United are in ongoing talks with New England Revolution over Harrison’s move across the pond.

Not only are negotiations ongoing, but there’s said to be growing confidence that an agreement will be reached soon.

Leeds United must ditch Jack Harrison this summer – Not good enough and not wanted

When players left thanks to loan clauses added by Andrea Radrizzani, it left a really foul taste for us fans. These players could not care less about Leeds United and were only here for to pick up a wage, Harrison included.

Brenden Aaronson could be argued as an exception. At least he returned and grafted hard to help us gain promotion and then stay up. Harrison, meanwhile, clearly couldn’t care less and has burned his bridges with the fans here.

There’s no way back for him. Even with Farke offering him a lifeline last season, he wasn’t good enough to make amends.

A move back to the MLS makes perfect sense for all parties. Leeds are managing to finally shift one of the club’s higher-earners (thanks to that 2023 contract), while he’s heading to a league that’s more his speed.

            67%
Love

            33%
Funny

            0%
Wow

            0%
Sad

            0%
Angry

Leeds United have confirmed a handful of exits already.
