A street in Manchester<\/a> has been named one of the ‘most Instagrammable<\/a>‘ roads in the UK. New research from Lloyds has revealed the most picture-perfect streets across the country, with a road in Ancoats<\/a> coming in at 14th place.<\/p>\n

Bath\u2019s iconic Royal Crescent took the top spot, famous for its sweeping Georgian design which has become a firm favourite for photos, reels and travel snaps. Latest data shows homes on the street cost an average of \u00a3590,786.<\/p>\n

Lloyds research highlights the streets that Brits can\u2019t stop sharing online from colourful city backdrops to historic cobbled lanes. The rankings are based on how often each street features on Instagram and TikTok, as well as how many times it is tagged in location posts.<\/p>\n

London\u2019s Portobello Road, known for its pastel-coloured houses and bustling market, came in second place – which has a whopping average price tag of \u00a31.66m.<\/p>\n

This was followed by The Street in the picturesque village of Castle Combe in third place, where homes sell for \u00a3428,759 on average.<\/p>\n

Edinburgh also performed strongly, with both Victoria Street and Circus Lane making the top 10.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile in Manchester, Anita Street in Ancoats came in 14th place in the ranking. The street features a distinctive row of pretty Victorian terraces, with an average house price of \u00a3257,319.<\/p>\n

In nearby Cheshire, Eastgate Street in Chester came in 18th place, where houses sell for an average of \u00a3263,811.<\/p>\n

The most affordable street in the top 20 is Pier Road in Luss, where the average property costs \u00a3158,559.<\/p>\n

\u201cSocial media is changing how people discover new places, and even where they start to picture themselves living,” said Amanda Bryden, head of mortgages at Lloyds.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat really stands out about these streets is their character. Whether it\u2019s colourful homes, heritage buildings or a standout setting, they\u2019re the kind of places people can\u2019t help but share.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s also great to see such a broad mix of locations. While some are among the UK\u2019s most premium streets, others are far more accessible, which shows you don\u2019t need a huge budget to find somewhere that genuinely feels special.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amanda adds: “While social media has helped shine a spotlight on some of the UK\u2019s most beautiful streets, it can also bring challenges for the people who live there. Popular locations can see a big rise in visitors, particularly at busy times of year.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs interest grows, it highlights the importance of visiting thoughtfully \u2013 respecting local residents and helping to protect the charm that makes these places so widely shared.\u201d<\/p>\n
