Foo Fighters<\/a> drummer Josh Freese has claimed the rock band has let him go without any explanation.<\/p>\n Freese, 52, joined the iconic group in 2023<\/a>, following the death of longtime drummer<\/a> Taylor Hawkins<\/a> in 2022.<\/p>\n He was previously a drummer for Guns N\u2019 Roses<\/a> and has worked with the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Weezer, Sting, The Offspring, and many more.<\/p>\n But his time with the Everlong rockers has come to an end, with Freese taking to social media<\/a> to announce his departure from the band, which is made up of Dave Grohl<\/a>, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, and Rami Jaffee.<\/p>\n \u2018The Foo Fighters called me Monday night to let me know they\u2019ve decided \u201cto go in a different direction with their drummer.\u201d No reason was given,\u2019 he wrote on Instagram. <\/p>\n \u2018Regardless, I enjoyed the past two years with them, both on and off stage, and I support whatever they feel is best for the band.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t \t\t\t\tMusic festival famous for helping launch Billie Eilish is coming to London \u2013 and you could win tickets\t\t\t<\/p>\n We’ve teamed up with\u00a0SXSW London<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to give away two pairs of Music Festival Wristbands valid for 2-7 June 2025.<\/p>\n Headliners include Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Tems, Brit Award-winning artist Mabel, Crystal Castles\u2019s Alice Glass, and East London-based R&B artist NAO, plus emerging talent set to perform at showcase acts around Shoreditch.<\/p>\n Click here<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to find out more about SXSW London\u2019s incredible events and how to enter to be in with a chance to win, or simply enter your details using the form below. *T&Cs apply.<\/p>\n You have until midnight on\u00a0Sunday 25th May 2025<\/strong>\u00a0to enter.
