Through all of it, the same person has been beside him. Katie Goodland has known Kane since they were classmates at secondary school, long before he was one of the most recognized footballers in the world. Here, get to know more about Harry Kane\u2019s wife, Katie Goodland:<\/p>\n

Kane and Goodland met as pupils at Chingford Foundation School in London. The two were even photographed together<\/a> with another famous Chingford alum<\/a>, David Beckham, in 2005. Kane and Goodland were 11 and 12 years old at the launch of his football academy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The depth of that history has not been lost on Kane. \u201cIf I was single now and meeting people, you’d never know if they were with you for the right reasons,\u201d he previously told the Evening Standard<\/a>. \u201cIs it the money? You’d never really know. So I\u2019m lucky that I\u2019ve got a childhood sweetheart. She always wanted to do her own thing. She went to university and worked hard. I have a great family, they keep me grounded and they’ve worked just as hard as me to get me where I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple got engaged in the summer of 2017<\/a> during a holiday in the Bahamas. Kane proposed on the beach while the two were vacationing with their daughter Ivy. He shared a photo on social media of himself on one knee, captioning it simply: \u201cShe said YES!\u201d They married in June 2019. Kane announced the news on social media, though the location was kept private. \u201cA month ago today I married my soul mate, one of the best days of my life,\u201d Goodland wrote after the ceremony<\/a>. \u201cThank you for making my dreams come true, you are perfect @harrykane.\u201d<\/p>\n

The photos showed the pair<\/a> at what appeared to be a seaside setting. The bride wore a fitted Ralph and Russo gown<\/a> with a sweetheart neckline, an embellished bodice, and a fishtail skirt with a long train.<\/p>\n

Goodland is a fitness instructor.<\/p>\n

Goodland graduated from Middlesex University London<\/a> in 2014 with a degree in sports science and went on to work as a fitness instructor at a gym in Walthamstow.<\/p>\n

She has also built quite a following of more than 341,000 on Instagram<\/a>, though she is not your typical soccer WAG. Kane has spoken about how she handled the attention that came with his rising profile. \u201cShe\u2019s finding it a little crazy,\u201d he told Esquire<\/a>. \u201cI think she\u2019s even been in the papers a couple of times taking the dogs out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kane and Goodland have two Labrador retrievers named Brady and Wilson. Kane named one after NFL quarterback Tom Brady, having repeatedly cited the documentary<\/a> The Brady 6 as an inspiration for his own development. While many fans make assumptions about their second dog\u2019s name, it was chosen by Goodland. \u201cMy wife actually named the other one Wilson,\u201d Kane said in 2023<\/a>. \u201cPeople just assumed it was for [former Seattle Seahawks quarterback] Russell Wilson. But it was just a coincidence.\u201d<\/p>\n
