Charlotte Donoghue, from <a aria-label=\"AintreeLink opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/aintree\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">Aintree<\/a> and Stephanie Porter, from Lydiate are behind jewellery brand, <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/whats-on-news\/built-business-kitchen-table-turned-34107607\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">Say It With.<\/a> The business has grown from five necklaces being sold on Instagram, to a celebrity-loved brand, making millions of pounds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The business partners had &#8220;always been around each other&#8221; through family connections, but &#8220;just clicked&#8221; as they got older, had children, and found a mutual love of cups of tea. Stephanie had got some necklaces, and asked Charlotte if she&#8217;d be able to help her sell them. Within an hour, Charlotte had sold them all and asked if they had any more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">From there, Say It With &#8211; previously Say It With Diamonds &#8211; was born and the friends are now business partners. Charlotte told the <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">ECHO<\/a>: &#8220;At first we were just doing it for a little bit of pocket money, and we didn&#8217;t ever in our wildest dreams think we would be at the turnover that we&#8217;re at now. We&#8217;re just so grateful and thankful every day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;It&#8217;s unbelievable. The fact that we&#8217;re still sat here laughing. It&#8217;s never been like a day&#8217;s work in the whole 10 years. You know, we&#8217;re so lucky to be best of friends. We&#8217;ve literally\u2014and I kid you not\u2014not had one cross word in 10 years, over anything. Their journey began in 2015 when they were 25 and 22-years-old respectively. Tom was a youth professional footballer at Tranmere Rovers between the ages of 17 and 21, while Phil played semi-professional cricket for a number of local clubs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">They founded Castore from their parents\u2019 home, initially funding the business through savings, family support, and small investments. Their aim was to create a premium British sportswear brand capable of competing with global giants such as <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/sport\/football\/football-news\/liverpool-decision-switch-nike-adidas-30975051\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">Nike and Adidas.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A major breakthrough came in 2019 when tennis star Andy Murray became both an ambassador and investor in the company. The company prides itself on offering \u201chigh-quality, simple and minimalistic pieces for every occasion\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">ARNE said the <a aria-label=\"Liverpool city centreLink opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-city-centre\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">Liverpool city centre<\/a> store had been in the pipeline for a few years as they waited for the \u201cperfect location and perfect store\u201d. The management said they wanted the first shop to be somewhere it could thrive long-term. The brothers said Liverpool was always going to be \u201cthe first\u201d.
