And those posh people all tend to hang out in the same posh places. You know, places with pristine cobbled streets, artisan bakeries, rowing clubs and big old Georgian mansions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While most of us could only dream of being able to afford a house in such places, we can at least visit for a few days to get a taste of how the other half live. Where exactly should you go for that? Well, after picking out the UK\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/uk\/news\/the-uks-poshest-suburbs-have-been-named-do-you-live-in-one-121024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">14 poshest suburbs<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/uk\/news\/the-uks-poshest-suburbs-have-been-named-do-you-live-in-one-121024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Telegraph<\/a> has\u00a0selected the 15 fanciest towns that a perfect to go and \u2018play at being posh for a while\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Henley-on-Thames<\/strong>, just one hour from London,\u00a0was named the poshest of the lot. You can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/news\/its-official-britains-poshest-town-is-just-one-hour-from-london-031825\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">read more about that here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In second place was <strong>Bruton<\/strong> in Somerset, which the\u00a0Telegraph\u00a0describes as \u2018pretty as a picture\u2019. It gives special shoutouts to the high-end Hauser and Wirth art gallery on\u00a0Durslade Farm, the quietly luxurious Michelin star joint Osip and \u2018uber-swanky\u2019 new hotel The Newt in Somerset. The paper said the town \u2018has had a reputation for being well-to-do since the 19th century\u2019 and its centre \u2018retains a refined air, with elegant buildings, a strong boutique shopping scene and classily traditional eateries.\u2019\u00a0World-famous tearoom Betty\u2019s was listed as a highlight here, alongside the Turkish Baths and the Royal Hall. href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/wales\/things-to-do\/best-things-to-do-in-wales\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wales<\/a> and St Andrews, full of \u2018dramatic ruins, medieval streets, wild coast and, of course, golf\u2019 (and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/uk\/culture\/st-andrews-the-crown\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">royal favourite<\/a>), ranked ninth for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/scotland\/travel\/best-places-to-visit-in-scotland\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scotland<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>These are the poshest towns in the UK, according
