Daddy Issues<\/a> and The White Lotus<\/a> season 3 star Aimee Lou-Wood<\/a> has landed her next major role.<\/p>\n

The actor will be appearing in Anxious People opposite none other than Angelina Jolie<\/a>, reports Deadline<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Marc Forster-directed film already had a lot of buzz as this year’s Cannes Film Festival was gearing up to kick off, and there’s even more hype now thanks to Aimee’s casting.<\/p>\n

And her former Sex Education<\/a> co-star Ncuti Gatwa is very excited too.<\/p>\n

Aimee shared the casting announcement article to her Instagram<\/a>, writing “QUEEN ANGE!!!!” in the caption, with Doctor Who<\/a> star Gatwa writing in the comments: “Is this what dreams are made of?”<\/p>\n

“LFGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!” commented fellow White Lotus star Natasha Rothwell, while Patrick Schwarzenegger wrote: “YOU LEGEND”.<\/p>\n

The official synopsis teases what we can expect from the film: “The day before Christmas Eve, investment banker Zara (Jolie) begrudgingly finds herself mingling with a group of strangers at an open house.<\/p>\n

“When a reluctant bank robber, Grace (Wood), inadvertently takes the group hostage, chaos and oversharing ensues, secrets are revealed and literally nothing goes according to plan.<\/p>\n

“A film about a crime that never took place, a would-be bank robber who disappears into thin air, and eight extremely anxious strangers who find they have more in common than they ever imagined.”<\/p>\n

Last month, Aimee hit out at a Saturday Night Live<\/a> sketch which made fun of her teeth<\/a>, calling it “mean and unfunny”.<\/p>\n

“Take the piss for sure \u2013 that’s what the show is about \u2013 but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way!” she said.<\/p>\n
