\n\tOn July 9,\u00a0Istituto Marangoni<\/a> London held its annual fashion show. To celebrate the creativity, innovation, vision and work of 10 emerging designers and their graduate collections, the school staged a runway show at its Shoreditch campus location.<\/p>\n

\n\tTitled \u201cMagma,\u201d the show this year explored the idea of hidden energy building under pressure and its transformative impact. The theme reflected the creative process of creating a fashion collection itself \u2014 and the journey of experimentation, refinement and personal growth to create a personal expression.<\/p>\n

\n\tSimilar to how magma itself shifts landscapes and helps transform terrain, this year\u2019s graduates were invited to challenge conventions and propose new perspectives on the future of fashion.<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\t\t\"\"<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis year, our fashion show theme is \u2018Magma\u2019, a force that builds slowly, under pressure, before breaking through with unstoppable energy,\u201d said Adi Maoz-Cohen, director of education at Istituto Marangoni<\/a> London. \u201cThat is exactly the journey our students have lived: deepening their craft, sharpening their personal vision, learning to translate emotion and story into garment and silhouette. On the runway is the eruption, new voices, new perspectives and a wave of innovation that has been quietly but powerfully taking shape.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 10 designers represented a diverse global presence, attending from countries such as Korea, Romania and Sweden. With its international presence, the community of designers showcased their own unique cultural perspectives and narratives on the catwalk.<\/p>\n

\n\tGraduates were hand selected by a panel to participate in the show \u2014 the 10 designers who showcased their work were Sian Helga Louise Pierrou Bengtsson, Virginia Bozzol, Liana Tsz Yan Chan, Giulia Improta, Daniil Khatsko, Ho Kyun Kim, Gyulee Lim, Lavinia Mandl, Riccardo Sanna and Rafael Imanol Stamatoiu.<\/p>\n

\n\tTheir collections embodied the creativity cultivated at the school, where the ideas were fostered, challenged and refined before hitting the runway. The show itself transformed the school into a place of creativity for emerging talent to present their final works.<\/p>\n
