{"id":1092730,"date":"2026-07-16T11:38:29","date_gmt":"2026-07-16T11:38:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1092730\/"},"modified":"2026-07-16T11:38:29","modified_gmt":"2026-07-16T11:38:29","slug":"tower-of-londons-learning-spaces-to-be-transformed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1092730\/","title":{"rendered":"Tower of London&#8217;s learning spaces to be transformed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Historic Royal Palaces has announced a multimillion-pound transformation of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blooloop.com\/museum\/in-depth\/gunpowder-plot\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tower of London<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s learning and community spaces.<\/p>\n<p>The project represents the biggest-ever investment in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blooloop.com\/rethinking-edutainment\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">learning<\/a><\/strong> and community engagement at the 1,000-year-old tourist attraction.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/subscribe\/digital\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><\/p>\n<p>Through philanthropic support, the UNESCO World Heritage Site is being reimagined as one of the UK&#8217;s most inspiring places for learning, creativity and community connection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"shortcode-media shortcode-media-rebelmouse-image\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"25fa0\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"646f53913d397e385b70d396531206d8\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg' viewBox='0 0 2000 1333'%3E%3C\/svg%3E\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/students-on-a-tour-of-the-tower-of-london-with-a-guide-in-period-costume.jpg\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1333\" alt=\"Students on a tour of the Tower of London with a guide in period costume.\"\/> The Tower of London has announced the biggest-ever investment in learning and community engagement<\/p>\n<p>New facilities designed by Jamie Fobert Architects will include two new learning centres, dedicated spaces for community use and an archive study centre.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Tower of London is so rich in history and extraordinary architecture; it is a honour to be tasked with creating new learning and community spaces within its walls,&#8221; said <strong>Jamie Fobert<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the development includes a green classroom in the moat designed by landscape architects Grant Associates.
