Merseyside\u2019s only naturist community, where clothes aren\u2019t a requirement, have released their programme of summer events. Located just a 20-minute walk from Whiston train station<\/a>, you will find Liverpool’s Sun and Air naturist camp.<\/a><\/p>\n

Tucked behind dense hedges and electric gates is one of the longest-established societies that has been on the 10-acre site since 1933. There are currently over 100 members, each of whom pays hundreds in annual membership fees.<\/p>\n

Inside the campsite, there are 40 chalets and 20 static caravans. These are home to naturists who travel far and wide to be with like-minded people from the same community. They spend their time with each other enjoying the swimming pool, tennis courts, and park on offer, often all while naked.<\/p>\n

The society has a three-visit strip rule, where if you have visited a handful of times and have yet to take your clothes off, you aren’t able to return as you “aren’t likely a naturist”.<\/p>\n

The ECHO previously visited the site on a Friday<\/a> afternoon when a sauna night was taking place. While there, the ECHO<\/a> was allowed to take photos of the campsite. You can find out more about what happened when our reporter joined the community for an evening here.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, if you fancy yourself a naturist, numerous events are being held over the next few months. You can find them in full here<\/a>, but below are some highlights.<\/p>\n

Mad Hatter’s Tea Party<\/strong><\/p>\n

Afternoon tea will be held on May 25 at 2 p.m. Said to be \u201cwith a twist,\u201d the event will be complete with a \u201cBucks Fizz buzz.\u201d<\/p>\n

Guests can expect to enjoy everything from a selection of finger sandwiches, homemade quiche, and mini scotch eggs to scones, jam, and clotted cream, as well as Victoria sponge fairy cakes.<\/p>\n

Great British Skinny Dip<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of the \u2018National Great British Skinny Dip Campaign,\u2019 Liverpool Sun & Air Society, along with many other clubs across the UK, is hosting a Great British synchronised event on Saturday, June 7, at 12.30 pm.<\/p>\n

This event is part of the BN fundraising partnership with the British Heart Foundation. The GBSDC is just \u00a314.00 payable either before or on the day for visitors. Liverpool Sun & Air Society members are requested to make a donation to the charity.<\/p>\n

Lunch can also be purchased on the day. A special offer of soup and a sandwich (four fillings to choose from) is available at a great value of \u00a37.50 per person. Order by 11 am, and it will be served at 12.30 p.m.<\/p>\n

\"BehindBehind the wooden door is a sauna and in front is the heated swimming pool, where members have to be naked to go in both.Karaoke Evening<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be an evening dedicated to karaoke on June 21, starting from 7pm and ending at 11:30 pm. Between belting out classics, there will also be a supper menu served, with attendees having the option of a beef burger or deep-fried scampi.<\/p>\n

Vegetarians can expect halloumi encased in breadcrumbs and skin-on fries. The closing date for an evening ticket is Wednesday, June 18.<\/p>\n

Balance, Physiotherapy & Meditation Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

On June 7, the camp will turn its focus to health and well-being. Throughout the day, there will be a series of workshops and one-to-one sessions available.<\/p>\n

This includes body balance meditation, physiotherapy balance class, earth meditation and a drumming circle.
