A man has been remanded in custody after being charged with breaking into houses and stealing cars right across the West Country.<\/p>\n

Connor Moore appeared before magistrates earlier this week facing charges relating to an on-going investigation into a series of burglaries where cars have been taken from Whitchurch in South Bristol, Nailsea in North Somerset<\/a>, Bitton on the east side of Bristol, and Easter Compton in the north west of Bristol, and Swindon in Wiltshire.<\/p>\n

Moore, a 30-year-old from Croscombe Drive in Hartcliffe<\/a>, was told he faces two counts of non-dwelling burglary, 12 counts of dwelling burglary, two counts of attempted burglary, one of the theft of a motor vehicle and one count of acquiring or possessing criminal property.<\/p>\n

He appeared before Bristol Magistrates Court on Wednesday, July 15, and was remanded in custody to appear again at Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday, August 19.<\/p>\n

Detective Inspector Tim Mullins, from Avon and Somerset police, said: \u201cWe are taking robust action to tackle dwelling burglaries where vehicles are being targeted, using all available lines of enquiry to identify and bring offenders to justice.<\/p>\n
