He\u2019s gone now, but\u00a0these days the pub serves\u00a0a rotating cast of excellent independent ales and\u00a0an impeccable crisp selection. The Pembury Tavern<\/a><\/strong> in Hackney, which is home to one of our favourite \u2018zas in the capital<\/a>, Ace Pizza, is also worth a visit.
