Artists including Toby Keith, Bruce Springsteen, Journey, Lynyrd Skynyrd and John Denver appear with some of their most familiar smashes, as Americans stream and purchase music tied to the country, patriotism or, more generally, summer.

Miley Cyrus joins that group, though she stands out as the only major pop star among the many country and rock veterans benefiting from the annual surge. “Party in the U.S.A.” has gradually become a July Fourth favorite, and following the nation’s landmark birthday – the country just turned 250 – the earworm returns to four tallies, establishing new peaks on half of them and reaching an important milestone on the country’s most competitive songs ranking.

“Party in the U.S.A.” Returns to the Billboard Hot 100

“Party in the U.S.A.” reenters the Billboard Hot 100 this week, where it can be found at No. 25. As of this frame, Cyrus’s classic has spent 30 weeks somewhere on the ranking of the most popular songs in the U.S. “Party in the U.S.A.” is now the third solo song by the Grammy winner to accumulate at least that many stays on the all-genre tally.

The tune originally reached No. 2 in the summer of 2009. It was blocked from the summit during its initial run, but it has become one of the defining hits of Cyrus’s early career and has remained familiar enough to return to the list more than a decade and a half later.

Miley Cyrus Has Charted Three Solo 30-Week Hits

“Flowers” remains Cyrus’s longest-charting solo smash on the Billboard Hot 100, with just over a year – 55 weeks – on the list. “Wrecking Ball” follows with 32 periods somewhere on the 100-space rundown.

“Flowers” and “Wrecking Ball” are also Cyrus’s only No. 1s on the chart. Several years after “Party in the U.S.A.” stalled in second place, “We Can’t Stop” rose to the same position. Only a few weeks later, “Wrecking Ball” finally gave the singer her first champion.

Cyrus was also credited on “Without You” by The Kid Laroi, which spent 38 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. The Grammy winner’s name became attached to the pop song after she hopped on a remix, and her popularity turned it into a top 10 in – one which both acts claim. While “Without You” has technically managed a longer run on the Billboard Hot 100 than “Party in the U.S.A.,” Cyrus was not included on the track for much of its stay.

“Party in the U.S.A.” Reaches a New Streaming List Peak

“Party in the U.S.A.” also manages a return to the Streaming Songs chart. This frame, it establishes a new all-time high on the non-genre-specific streaming roster as it lands at No. 18.

Amazingly, the blockbuster single appears on the tally for only the second time. It debuted last July, when Independence Day similarly encouraged listeners to revisit the track. The pattern suggests that “Party in the U.S.A.” may have become an annual holiday hit. In summer 2027, it might soar even higher.

Miley Cyrus’s Smash Climbs to a New Global Chart High

PARIS, FRANCE – JUNE 18: (Exclusive Coverage) Miley Cyrus performs during Miley Cyrus Billions Club Series Paris at Maxim’s on June 18, 2025 in Paris, France. The worldwide chart – introduced by Billboard in 2020 – measures the most-consumed songs of any style around the planet utilizing both sales and streaming activity.

“Party in the U.S.A.” Becomes a Bestseller Again

Cyrus’s hit also finds its way back to the Digital Song Sales chart, becoming a top 20 bestseller once more. “Party in the U.S.A.” sits at No. 17, and it previously ruled the purchase-focused ranking. The single has now spent 56 weeks on the Digital Song Sales chart — more than a full year – and considerably longer than its runs on either the Billboard Hot 100 or Billboard Global 200.

ForbesMiley Cyrus’ Early Career Smash Reaches A New PeakBy Hugh McIntyre

“Party in the U.S.A.” becomes the third solo cut by Miley Cyrus to reach 30 weeks on the…

[3940
64503,4080,77,42616,300045,300047,300046,300612,300611,300610,300050,300051,16,15
post-1101339","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-celebrities","tag-billboard-hot-100","tag-celebrities","tag-entertainment","tag-miley-cyrus","tag-miley-cyrus-party-in-the-usa","tag-miley-cyrus-party-in-the-usa-billboard","tag-miley-cyrus-party-in-the-usa-charts","tag-miley-cyrus-party-in-the-usa-hot-100","tag-miley-cyrus-party-in-the-usa-sales","tag-party-in-the-u-s-a","tag-party-in-the-usa-billboard","tag-party-in-the-usa-charts","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom
["GET
