This scheme allegedly forced patients to pay a higher price for Lipitor-brand medication. <\/p>\n<p>Ranbaxy is a pharmaceutical company that sells <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lipitor.com\/\" style=\"font-weight: bold;text-decoration: underline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Lipitor<\/a>, a cholesterol medication.<\/p>\n<p>The defendants have not admitted any wrongdoing, though Ranbaxy agreed to pay $8.25 million to resolve the attorney general lawsuit. <a href=\"https:\/\/topclassactions.com\/lawsuit-settlements\/lawsuit-news\/35m-pfizer-lipitor-antitrust-class-action-settlement\/\" style=\"font-weight: bold;text-decoration: underline\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pfizer agreed to a similar $35 million settlement<\/a> in October 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Under the terms of the Ranbaxy Lipitor settlement, class members can receive a cash payment of up to $599.
