{"id":110217,"date":"2025-05-17T23:15:07","date_gmt":"2025-05-17T23:15:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/110217\/"},"modified":"2025-05-17T23:15:07","modified_gmt":"2025-05-17T23:15:07","slug":"barcelona-once-again-considering-a-major-push-for-e80m-rated-liverpool-forward-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/110217\/","title":{"rendered":"Barcelona once again considering a major push for \u20ac80m-rated Liverpool forward &#8211; report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Amid celebrations for a highly successful season, FC Barcelona have already set their sights on their main target for the upcoming transfer window. <\/p>\n<p>The sporting department, led by director Deco, has identified the left-wing position as one that needs to be strengthened in the summer.<\/p>\n<p>Luis Diaz top target again<\/p>\n<p>According to reports relayed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fichajes.net\/noticias\/barcelona-volvera-carga-fichaje-luis-diaz-20250517.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Fichajes<\/a>, Luis Diaz from Liverpool tops Deco\u2019s wishlist as the club looks to strengthen the Barcelona frontline. <\/p>\n<p>Barca\u2019s current first-choice wingers are Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, both of whom have been in brilliant form this season and have played a key part in their successful campaign. <\/p>\n<p>However, the belief within the club is that they lack the one-on-one threat needed to consistently break defences from the left flank.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cSuddenly, we feel very dependent on\u00a0Raphinha, on\u00a0Lamine. Maybe we need similar players, a solution for them,\u201d<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/barcauniversal.com\/deco-talks-lamine-raphinha-champions-league-exit-la-liga-renewals-new-signings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deco had said<\/a> recently.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/fulham-fc-v-liverpool-fc-premier-league-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-164605\"  \/>Back on Barcelona\u2019s radar. (Photo by Julian Finney\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p>As such, the Barcelona sporting director has set his sights firmly on Diaz as his explosive style fits perfectly with the brand of football Hansi Flick\u2019s team plays.<\/p>\n<p>The Colombian international, who has consistently been linked with Bar\u00e7a in recent years, is seen as the ideal addition: a player with international experience, attacking aggression, and the ability to make an impact in big moments.<\/p>\n<p>The deal will not be easy. Diaz is under contract with Liverpool until 2027 and has yet to respond to a renewal offer.
