The BFI Imax \u2013 the U.K.\u2019s largest screen \u2013 reported its highest three-day opening weekend in history, bringing in a $294,249 from the single venue. This historic frame broke the previous all-time BFI Imax weekend record held by \u201cStar Wars: The Last Jedi\u201d ($289,682) in 2017, with \u201cOppenheimer\u201d now sitting in third place with $277,936. To date, the London site alone has logged over 82,000 admissions, generating $2.9 million in ticket sales and maintaining a 94% occupancy rate, making it the venue\u2019s third highest-grossing title of all time with 173 consecutive sold-out showtimes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tDisney claimed second place as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/toy-story-5\/\" id=\"auto-tag_toy-story-5\" data-tag=\"toy-story-5\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Toy Story 5<\/a>\u201d brought in $2.2 million in its fifth weekend. The film\u2019s five-week running cume is now $60.6 million. Disney also took the No. 3 spot with its live-action \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/moana\/\" id=\"auto-tag_moana\" data-tag=\"moana\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Moana<\/a>.\u201d In its sophomore session, the film added $2 million, taking its running total to $7.4 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tUniversal secured fourth place with \u201cMinions &amp; Monsters,\u201d which took $1.5 million in its third week, pushing its cume to $12.5 million. Studiocanal\u2019s horror feature \u201cEvil Dead Burn\u201d was in fifth place in its second weekend, banking $406,258 for a running total of $2.2 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBlack Bear\u2019s ensemble comedy-drama \u201cThe Invite\u201d occupied sixth place during its third weekend, adding $318,749 to its cume, which now rests at $3.3 million. Universal\u2019s \u201cObsession\u201d followed at No. 7 in its 10th frame, pocketing $249,169 to push its total to $24.9 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tWarner Bros.\u2019 superhero holdover \u201cSupergirl\u201d hit eighth place in its fourth frame with $123,852, boosting its cumulative haul to $7.4 million. Universal\u2019s Steven Spielberg sci-fi thriller \u201cDisclosure Day\u201d sat at ninth place with $91,904 in its sixth week, taking its total to $16.9 million. Paramount\u2019s \u201cJackass: Best and Last\u201d finished 10th in its fourth week, adding $57,313 for a total of $2.9 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tLooking ahead to the upcoming theatrical frame, Miracle\/IHeart Cinema rolls out the animated family feature \u201cChickenhare And The Secret Of The Groundhog\u201d across a wide saturation footprint of more than 300 screens. Park Circus is re-releasing the classic Aardman animation \u201cChicken Run\u201d into over 100 locations, while Curzon has a 4K restoration rollout for Andrei Tarkovsky\u2019s\u00a0masterpiece \u201cNostalghia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tTrafalgar is opening Sia\u2019s music event \u201cSia: Nostalgic For The Present (Concert)\u201d and Altitude \u201cPinocchio Unstrung.\u201d Verve Pictures launches Helen Walsh\u2019s contemporary drama \u201cOn The Sea,\u201d featuring a cast led by Barry Ward and Lorne Macfadyen. Picturehouse Entertainment is rolling out Giuseppe Tornatore\u2019s fashion designer documentary \u201cBrunello Cucinelli: The Gracious Visionary,\u201d Mubi Ratchapoom Boonbunchachoke\u2019s Cannes-winning supernatural black comedy \u201cA Useful Ghost\u201d and Dogwoof Ivy Meeropol\u2019s documentary \u201cAsk E.
