People setting sail from Seacombe Ferry Terminal will once again be able to enjoy fresh food and drinks as the Discovery Caf\u00e9 has reopened. The waterfront caf\u00e9 has now relaunched under new management.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now operated by local catering specialist Crosby Fresh, the Discovery Caf\u00e9 is open seven days a week. The caf\u00e9 is expected to prove popular with ferry passengers, commuters, visitors to Eureka! Science + Discovery, local residents, and anyone exploring the River Mersey waterfront. The site will be offering a selection of breakfasts, lunches, snacks and refreshments.<\/p>\n

The Crosby Fresh team is already aboard the Snowdrop ferry and will also be providing catering services on the new Royal Daffodil when it sets sail later this year. They will be serving up a new menu focused on quality ingredients, homemade food and locally sourced produce while creating a warm and welcoming space for visitors.<\/p>\n

Painted in Mersey Ferries\u2019 historic red, white and black colours, the new ferry features a main-deck lounge, modern bars, and spacious open-plan decks where passengers can relax and enjoy stunning views across the River Mersey.<\/p>\n

Wirral Councillor Steve Foulkes, Chair of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Transport Committee, said,<\/strong> \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to welcome visitors back to the Discovery Caf\u00e9 and to see this much-loved space at Seacombe Ferry Terminal brought back to life.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe caf\u00e9 is an important part of the overall visitor experience at Seacombe and its reopening reflects our wider ambition to strengthen and grow the Mersey Ferries offer as one of the most iconic visitor attractions in the UK.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we prepare to welcome the Royal Daffodil into service later this year, we\u2019re not just investing in a new vessel. We\u2019re investing in the whole customer journey, from our terminals and waterfront facilities to the experience passengers enjoy onboard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul McIntosh of Crosby Fresh said,<\/strong> \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to be bringing a fresh new offer to Discovery Caf\u00e9 at Seacombe Ferry Terminal. Our focus is on serving quality, home-made food in a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels at home.<\/p>\n
