In keeping with most of this month’s weather so far, the UK is experiencing a dry and warm spell which is set to continue this weekend.<\/p>\n

Yet the fine weather<\/a> is something to be savoured as the Met Office<\/a> forecasts change is on its way<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But for now, it’s a fine time to get out in beer garden and enjoy the higher than average temperatures and sunshine while it lasts.<\/p>\n

For Greater Manchester today (Saturday 17) temperatures are set to climb throughout the morning and afternoon, with highs of 22C forecast for around 4pm and 5pm.<\/p>\n

However, accounting for humidity and wind, this will knock a couple of degrees off making it feel more like 19C.<\/p>\n

But it’s unlikely to see any showers with chances of rain below 5% throughout the day.<\/p>\n

The latest Met Office forecasts predicts much the same for tomorrow (Sunday 18) with highs, slightly cooler, of 21C around 4pm and 5pm.<\/p>\n

Long spells of mostly uninterrupted sunshine are forecast through most of the day.<\/p>\n

And while the beginning of next week is forecast to see much of the same, chances of rain increase as we get nearer to the Bank Holiday weekend.<\/p>\n

The Met Office’s long range UK forecast says: “Into the bank holiday weekend and following week, a change in weather type is expected.<\/p>\n

“More unsettled conditions are likely to develop, with weather systems moving in from the Atlantic.<\/p>\n

“This will bring spells of rain to many areas, perhaps heavy at times, with a risk of strong winds in places.<\/p>\n

“Drier and brighter intervals are likely between systems. Temperatures will probably be near normal or slightly above.”<\/p>\n
