\"\"<\/a>SHEFFIELD Speedway are offering free admission to all aged 17 and under for the six week summer holidays – with rewards for those who attend at least three home fixtures in that period.<\/p>\n

The Tigers are further trying to encourage the next generation of supporters onto the terraces by getting rid of the standard admission prices for those categories for the next five meetings at Owlerton.<\/p>\n

The offer will be valid for the regular league fixtures against Ipswich (Thursday, July 23), Northampton (Thursday, July 30), Leicester (Thursday, August 6), King\u2019s Lynn (Monday, August 17) and Belle Vue (Monday, August 31).<\/p>\n

In addition, each junior \/ kid will receive a Tigers Junior Passport which they can then get stamped at the Speedway Office each time they attend.<\/p>\n

Three stamps earn supporters a Sheffield Speedway sticker, four stamps earn supporters a mystery Sheffield Speedway prize whilst those who attend all five fixtures during the period and collect all five stamps will be entered into a draw to win one of our Mascot Packages for the Northampton R2 fixture on Thursday, September 10 – worth \u00a3120!<\/p>\n

Co-owner Damien Bates said: \u201cOne area we have seen an increase in numbers this year is with the number of junior supporters coming to Sheffield for the first time.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re the future of the sport and I reckon a good 95 per cent of speedway fans started going when they were a kid and have stuck with it ever since.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe put on some different activities last year, and we\u2019ll be doing that again for some of these meetings, and they went down very well.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo we\u2019re giving this offer a try in the hope to get even more youngsters across South Yorkshire hooked on the thrills of speedway – and hopefully they\u2019ll come back for more!\u201d<\/p>\n
