Paramedics also attended and took the man to hospital for further treatment. His current condition is not known. A man and a woman, both also in their 30s, have been arrested on suspicion of affray and remain in custody for questioning.<\/p>\n

The street remained taped off tonight with a cordon remaining in place, and forensics and detectives both working at the scene.<\/p>\n
Those living nearby have now spoken of their horror at what happened. A woman who lives on the street, who did not want to be named, said: “It’s horrific. My little boy had to come home to a bloodbath and step over it. It’s not good.”<\/p>\n
“It’s a bit weird” she continued. “Just not a nice thing to happen on your doorstep. I am shocked it’s happened here.”<\/p>\n
Another resident on the estate said he came out of his property around 4pm to empty his bins and saw \u2018so much blood\u2019 on the walkway outside. \u201cIt was so scary\u201d he said. \u201cI just walked back to my house. It\u2019s not good at all.”<\/p>\n
Mohammed, 38, said at first he feared there had been a fatality when he also came out of his property around 4pm and saw the police activity. \u201cI was relieved when they said there hadn\u2019t\u201d he said. \u201cBut it\u2019s still very shocking the more you think about it and analyse it.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe majority of people who live here are elderly or families. I\u2019ve got little kids and the fact it\u2019s happened so close, I just didn\u2019t think it would happen here.”<\/p>\n
A neighbour said: \u201cI\u2019m not surprised. It\u2019s just a feeling I had, that something bad was going to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n
Whilst another added: “\u201cIt\u2019s strange to see it taped off. It’s a nice, quiet area. have never seen anything like this before.
